Recumbent Bicycle and Rower

Yup, now there are some fitness machines that let you do two distinctly different cardio exercises with the same unit. This nicely allows those of us who are space-challenged to vary our cardio routines, even if we’re just working out at home. This recumbent can switch back and forth from a bicycle to a rowing machine, so you can decide whether you want to focus completely on your legs or work your back and arms into the routine too.

“Rowing machines are appropriate for all fitness levels, and offer a total-body workout, concentrating on upper arms, shoulders, and back. Recumbent bicycles are an excellent source of a cardiovascular workout that are easier on hips, knees, and the lower back than traditional upright bikes.”

The machine has some nice features that you don’t always find on home cardio equipment. Examples include a heartrate monitor built into the handlebars and an oversized LCD screen that displays heartrate, speed, distance, calories burned (the important thing!), etc.

At the end of your workout, you can fold up the machine for storage.
