Push ups are just about the simplest exercise you can do, and you can do them without any fitness equipment, but could you do them better if you invested in some gadgetry?
Some people swear by push up bars (which allow a deeper, fuller push up), while others say there’s more potential for injury by going past 90 degrees with your arms. Whatever camp you’re in, you may still get a kick out of the fact that there are such things as digital push up bars.
Some of the features of these bars are:
- an ergonomic design with big LCD screen
- simple one-key operation
- automated repetition counting (hey, you wouldn’t want to have to count for yourself!)
- workout effort measurement (get told when you’re slacking off!)
- average workout power monitoring
They’re made by a Chinese company, and I’m not quite sure where you can buy them, so if anyone knows, please leave a comment below!
